Small watercolor sketch from our trip out to fire island yesterday. Really great day trip out of the city. LIRR from Penn station to Bay Shore and then a beautiful ferry ride across the sound. We climbed all the 192 stairs to the top of the lighthouse for some great views of the island. Even with it being July 4th weekend, the beaches were spacious and it definitely wasn’t over packed! Can’t wait to go back!
